Pierce doesn't merit his own entry? I protest.

Not to mention RichandAmy.

It's been commented to death on the main CC site, but yesterday's Close to Home appears to show a dog humping its owner's face:

A day late and a dollar short, as they say, but did anyone see yesterday's Curtis? Note the last panel, with Barry's finger in his nose. "DIG DIG ROOT ROOT," indeed! Note also Barry's remark in that panel: "- and he promises to hold my hand when we cross the street, right, Curtis?" Hopefully not his left hand! Ewwwww! The Pick! In the funnies, no less.

From the little I've seen of Curtiss (and, admittedly, I only look at it when someone comments on it here), I'd have to say it's pretty much a disgusting, morally bankrupt strip, with nothing of value to offer society.

You can pretty much count on Close to Home to give you at least one good "ewwww" a week. I submit to you yesterday's effort. See if you don't agree with me.

Yeah, not so much. The only thing I ever get out of that strip is a big sigh and another moment of contemplating why I bothered to read it in the first place, since I'm invariably disappointed.

Back on topic: Nobody's pointed out the twist in Curtis which still leaves us with a big pile of ewwww: Curtis grabs his teacher's ass in the public swimming pool. Hilarity ensues.

Hm, I'm not seeing any mention of grabbing. We know Curtis did something, but it's hard to say what. I don't think we need to assume he grabbed his teacher's ass.

Actually Dan, we're not assuming. The evidence is here and here.

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

On the one hand, I'm sorry I missed those as they rebutted my point.

On the other hand, I wish I'd never seen those!

Today's 6 CHIX explains the secret in keeping a romance alive is never farting in front of the other person.

And they say "fart."

Check LUANN-tics for another "Ewwwww!" factor...

And they got the word "fart" past the censors!

A tip of the Hatlo Hat to Isabella Bannerman and co.

Meanwhile, at Comics.com, Li'l Abner has just beaten the bejeebers outta Daisy Mae.

For her own good, of course...

I know I speak for millions when I say, "What tha...?!?!?"

Well, it was the fifties. It was "okay" then!

I like the fact that they put the original publication date on the comic on Lil Abner on comics.com. Gives you more of a sense of perspective.
